Busy making Santas

I am working like a busy little elf in my work shop. On Nov. 13th I am doing a Christmas show. I am also listing a few on my Etsy. Here is the first Santa I listed on Etsy. He has a wondereful green robe made from an old Army blanket. I also made a folky little reindeer to go with him. My Etsy id is Primitives by Gloria.

My Free Give away

I have added more Santa Stars

I have been adding more of my One- of - a- Kind Santa stars to my Etsy store. I will be adding a few more that I fifnshed. Getting ready for the American Holiday Margetplace. Kick off on Aug. 25th. My Etsy shop will be linked to to the new Marketplace.

I have finished 14 Santa Stars

I have finished 14 Santa Stars. I have been making one of a kind Santa star ornaments for 16 years. They are signed and dated. Each face is sculpted/carved from clay. I had the inspiration after taking a 40 hours of classes with Harley Refsal. He is a famous Scandinavian flat plane carver. He taught us how to carve on bass wood. Being labor intensive I turned to clay.

I am proud to be an American. I am a proud Army mom. I am very proud of my sons.

Wonderful Customers

What would we do without those treasured customers? It would be a pretty grim life in my estimation. They motivate me and inspire me to continue in my creative endeavers. One of my very favorite customers has a big collection of my one of a kind Sanat stars,Santa carvings and needle felted Santa ornaments. I was so honored to think Kathi decorated an entire tree with my ornaments and then she called the tree "Glorious Gloria tree". Yes, our customers are to be treasured! Thank you Kathi and thank you to all my wonderful customers.

I can hardly believe it is 2010. Time just seems to fly.
Well, I have started the creative process for this year. I hope this year brings us all health,hope and happieness.
